Big Games

Jimus I've been talking to my friends on the team and they said that they are trying to concentrate on the Mid - Majors this year for scheduling. The main "High Profile" team that we are going to play is Auburn. Then of course there will be the Zags and then we also have Southern Illinios and University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Sounds like a pretty decent schedule to me.

That's pretty good, but it's not Michigan State, Stanford, and Purdue. Maybe at least SIU and UWM will return the favor and come play in Missoula, and I'm looking forward to seeing the game at the Kennel (if I can get a ticket). Our non-conference schedule will probably still be better than the rest of the Big Sky's, except Weber State since they routinely play Utah and BYU.

yeah I'm not sure if I agree with not playing major schools either. Last year was so much fun playing those guys and especially Stanford. But maybe last year that wore us out a little too much playing with big physical teams like Michigan State and Purdue. I like how we have some real solid teams like Southern Illinois that aren't majors but are very good and well respected programs. Auburn will be a great test of our teams athleticism cause you know that the south has traditionally had the best atheletes in the country when your talking about pure athleticism. This schedule may prepare us better for the BSC than last years. I think even though it is not as tough it will give us some big time experience but aslo help us peak in time for conference play.

We'll probably get Washington State for a home game because they played them in Pullman last year. It's always fun to beat up on a major conference team at home. I don't care whoever it is.
