Yep Grudens Grinder, it was really cool.

Too bad he's hooked up with that bimbo.

Who else remembers Biermann, in his first couple years with the Griz, would do that cat quick roll over at the line of scrimmage??? Craziest thing you ever seen, and I'm sure it really F'ed with the O Linemen. He didn't do it at all his senior year, I think Hauck put the kibash on it.

I do. I also remember that 07 team having 6 guys on it who are on NFL rosters. That is pretty amazing. Of course that Wofford game was a debacle of epic proportions....it still makes me sick thinking about it.

Yes that is pretty amazing for a team at our level. All Montana guys also.

All those guys being from MT makes it even better! MM and Shann didn't play that much on that 07 team though. Still, a ton of talent on that squad.

2 of those 6 have been to the Pro Bowl also, and maybe Colt this year!

I personally think that loss to Wofford was the worst loss at home in the modern era (post 85) of Griz football. While the 3 to MSU, this year to NAU, UMASS, NDSU were all bad, that game is the worst for me.

Thoroughly out-coached and beat by an inferior team when the Griz were undefeated, seeded and only tested really a couple times that year. I do not blame Carp either, the game should not have come down to that.

BSC was just about at it's weakest during that era.

If you don't see the triple option very much it is very difficult to defend. You can preach gap discipline and stay home all you want but it doesn't always translate to the field. Its also tough for a practice squad to imitate it because the teams that run it regularly run it way faster and more effectively. I do remember in that game that our D did create two turnovers in Wofford territory, one on a hard hit by Colt, and the Griz got zero points out of it. That can't happen in the playoffs.

Agree totally Hammer, the Griz didn't JUST lose to Wofford because of coaching. The offense struggled mightily at key times, and missed tackles were in abundance. You can coach that up all week, but if dudes don't wrap up, or get their jocks left on the ground by juke moves and studder-steps, what else can you do. IF the Griz had lost that same game under Read or Glenn, all people would be talking about is how it was a hard-fought heartbreaker against a really awkward team to play.
