BEER

Royce sits in his president box and drinks wine and beer. As do almost every box in the stadium.

Put your money up or slink-sneak your beer into the stadium. It is far cheaper to sneak a can in for 50 cents than to pay upwards of 5 dollars for a draft. Plus paying thousands more for your seats.

Quit whining and watch the game either way!

What I have been told is that it is based on MT Liquor laws and the requirements of the catering permit.I don't really understand it more than that, but I don't believe UM sells alcohol, they use a catering permit to hire Reds (I think) to sell it.

I think UM Catering runs the beer/liquor sales and Reds has nothing to do with it.
You might be right, my information was based on a conversation with Hogan that (obviously) predates sales at Wa Griz. The UM Catering website does say they contract out alcohol sales, but I am not sure Reds is the contractor.

FSPB lobbying at its best.

Rebel yell my arse, lad! We're talking fine 12-year-old Irish whisky, laddie, not that Yankee corn swill!

(Hint: Make sure you roll your r's when you read that out loud.)

speaking of beer, here is a good read from today's Missoulian on the Silver Dollar-

I know it used to be the Rhino, but that may have changed as that was quite a while ago.

I tried and failed. Besides, I'm told the only real whisky comes from the Whisk region of Scotland.

Try this: "Feckin' cheap Yankee corn whiskey swill!"

Really spit those words out, and get the iPad screen wet. It feels good.

Laddie"A" - there are seven primary whisky regions in the land of my ancestors. But if you'd just remember the Highlands and Speyside, you'd be golden. That 12 yr Irish stuff is a myth. Everyone knows the Irish can leave alcohol alone that long.

Gosh, back in the 70s, we brought fifths in with us in brown paper shopping bags. Things are a little tighter now. But, if you need inspiration, type something like "how to sneak alcohol into a stadium" into YouTube to get some ideas.

I even put together a page of links years ago that I've found is still up there. Not sure if the links are still good.
