I'm glad that a BSC school gets to move on. Not so happy that it is Eastern Washington. They play hard, they play smart, and are well coached. Maybe someday I'll get the bitter taste of this game out of my mouth, but not today. I'll shake any Eagle fan's hand and tell them they have a good team, but I still dislike them much more than the cats. Much, much more.
 
Both teams have tremendous talent. The Eagles made a lot of plays where it was either a Griz or Eagle, and the Eagles stepped up.

Hats off to the Ewoos.
 
Classy thread, from fans of a classy program. I was nervous about this one until the final buzzer. I'm both looking forward to and dreading a Griz return to form. Your program is what ours aspires to become.

I REALLY like this thread. Hate to see our Grizz lose, but Eagles were definitely the better team again this year. Along with the rest of you, I say good luck to EWU the rest of the way. May the Big Sky produce a National Champion again!
 
I also want to say congrats to EWU. Thought it was a well-fought game. Better team won. I think it only helps us to have a rival like EWU (and MSU) for that matter... Makes us a better program and league in the long run.
 
Congrats to the Eagles. They are clearly the better team this year. I really thought we would win this game but EWU certainly has the Griz number right now.

Hey Griz fans, well many of you anyway. I appreciate the kind sentiments from many of you and ignore the others.
It is kind of interesting how much our programs have in common. The Eagles have developed quite a few haters as have the Griz. Actually eGrizzers are worst because when I meet and talk with actual fans at the game today they were good people. Friendly, football savey fans.
It appears we will both be looking for a HC soon.
Both of our cupboards are stocked with young talent.
Congratulation on a good season and another trip to playoffs.
We can look forward to many great games.

Yup Ranger, don't even fight it. I think Egriz has been extremely gracious tonight. How can we not be, like I said, EWU owns Montana on the football field right now. There's no disputing that. I'll be hoping the Eags win it all.

SDSU showed yesterday that NDSU might be beatable. Hopefully you are the one to do it this year.
 
Great game, Eags. You were obviously the better team this year -- hopefully, we can take it next year, but we'll be cheering for you through the playoffs. Represent for all of us and bring that NC trophy back to BSC!
