I wonder if things keep going the way they are, if some of the recruits who have verballed will change their minds & go some place else. Likewise, how many guys who were strongly considering UM,will change their minds & go elswhere. I suspect that its much harder to recruit quality players to a losing team than a winning team. One can only hope that things will get turned around sooner than later.

The Griz have 3 high school recruits who already signed letter of Intents plus one JC recruit, so they are not just verbals.


I watched Jordan Hasquet today and I would say he will need to redshirt, and may not contribute really heavily until two or three years from now.

He absolutely needs to add weight and more muscle first. Right now, he is like a Ryan Pederson that can shoot better. And he can shoot the ball well. But he hasn't played much at all against players his own size or taller, plus, at this time would not fare very well against the more physical college game. But, there is time for him to develop, which is why I prefer High school recruits. There is time to develop players like Hasquet so that they can be good players so that instead of one good year you can get out of a Junior College player, you can get up to two or three years with a high school recruit. Griz have recruited too many JC recruits the past 5 or 6 years.
