I'm fine with bandwagon fans. Don't see any problem with them. It's the bad fans who diss the team (players and coaches) during the season, and then jump on the bandwagon at times like now, that I question. Also, the ones that diss the coaches, and then go to GSA events and talk or suck up to the coaches. Even worse, the ones who diss the coaches, suck up to them at GSA events, and then post on the board that the coach said this or that.

More fans, regardless of their intentions, is better than less fans.

I will admit that I am riding the griz basketball bandwagon. Except I've been on it since before most you were born! When I was a student at UM, we had that old Griz sharpshooter ‘pistol’ Peter North who could simply stroke it right in face of the guys trying to guard him. Of course with Lex Steele and big Johnnie Holmes under the basket we were so long that the defense was forced into double penetration, but back then those fellas were smart enough to pull out and shoot it all over them! Ahh, Those were the days!

I say welcome aboard to all the new fans!

I'm betting you're the person who sent Mitch Strohman (NAU's play by play announcer) an email about growing up in Philadelphia, getting in trouble in the neighborhood, before moving to Bel Air that he read during the live-game broadcast on bigskytv.org.
