Great speed, and great balance! Man are we deep at RB these days! We should think about moving one or two to WR.
I think we're gonna see a shit load of a running game. With MD puttin JJ under center, all these RBs coming outta nowhere, our O-line averaging 6'6" and 305lbs... it only makes sense to me. Noah Scarver is gonna have a big roll in blocking LBs and who ever else gets too close.

I would bet Scarver redshirts. Watch for Jamal Wilson at FB blowing holes for Canada, Van, Counts ect...

Will Favors play as a true frosh??? hmmmm. maybe?

I'm predicting Scarver will play this year. He's a tall, athletic recieving target. And a bigger body at the LOS for blocking.

(I know people, I know, you say a TE that is used in the passing game at Montana??? But, yes.)
TE's have been doing really well in the passing game recently. Middleton and Hardy are two that come to mind. So i would agree with your words "tall, athletic receiving target"

Treshawn Favors is listed as 5'9" and 175 lbs. I'd favor a redshirt so he can hit the weight room a little and add some experience with the Playbook. Canada is now listed 5'9" and 190 lbs; last year he was still coming in at 172 lbs. Hope the added weight doesn't slow him down any.

I like the way you think!! :thumb:

 Thanks! Looks like we often think alike. :thumb:
I would really like to see Favors get some playing time in. But if they RS him that'd be ok to. He's quick!! I just wanna see what he can do at this level of play.

Tre is a great player. He is tough and hits hard for his size. His injury was just bad luck. He came back and lead a below average undersized team to the 17th spot in power points and barely missed the playoffs. He did this without a great group around him. He will do great. I know this because I was his teammate for four years. He is thankful to be on this team now and will do anything to make that team better in any way he can.
sounds like you know him well. if so, what does he really run the 40 in? his best 100 meters is 11.5. i'm guessing he's more of a 4.6-4.7. also, 4.98 per carry is low for a prep back getting picked by a f.c.s. team. was his line bad?

I'm not sure that an athlete's time in the 100 meter dash is a good proxy for his 40 time. I follow track a bit and there are short-sprint athletes that reach their top speed quickly. There are others that may have higher top-end speed but don't reach it as fast as others. In a running back, I'd rather have the player that can get to their top-end speed quickly. I think that's what we have in Tre...just my two bits
good post bjorn. ive never heard that, but it makes sense. he does look fast on film.
