yo, arghie! jeez, i ask for a sports bar in atlanta. the clowns go off: call kroy! call jimmy carter! call evander holyfield! and then i get a real offer: dim sum in new york. that sounds great--but not the timing. don't get there till Oct. 9, week after next. let me know. meantime, i'll be burning down atlanta.

history note: guy comes to s.f. back in the 1850's. wants to open a bank. has two choices: north beach, today's thriving italian section; or south beach, where today the bay bridge connects to the city. he picks north beach. wrong! the big money goes to south beach. bank goes belly. he joins the army, becomes a general. and yes, is the guy who burned down atlanta--general william tecumseh sherman--where today, kroy biermann plays football for the atlanta falcons, and there you have the connection to griz football.
 
well that is a bummer! i hope you at least were able to catch the shonen knife show at awa this afternoon? there can't possibly be anything better than punk rock songs about blue eyed kitties and food. unless, of course, it is griz football! indeed, i challenge all you musicians out there to post your own punk rock songs about #37!
