Assistant Coach

I remember Nate getting lit up by many guards in the Big Sky at that time. The league was much stronger in those days, with Chris Childs (Boise State/NY Knicks, etc...) probably being the best guard in the Sky ever, breakin Nates ankles on a regular basis.

And what about the 14 assists? Against Simon Fraser, who had a sister of the poor guarding Nate? They should take that back and give it to whoever has the second most assists. It has to be against a team other than Canadian in nationality for records.

Michael Ray could also vie for that numero uno rank.

Nate, like Wayne, played mediocrel during the regular season, then faded in the tourneys.

He will bring a positive image and credibility to the table. Plus, hopefuly strong recruiting ties to the state of Wasington and get sleepers like Virgil M.

I remember Nate, what position did you say you played? thats what i thought :lame:

The same position you played byyiiicchhh!!! And I know what I saw, Wayne out of shape, faded and Nate hiding in the clutch....but he was a hustler

It'll be interesting to sea a couple of Washington guys running the Montana program.

beastie-Wayne averaged about 17 pts a game and 8 plus rebounds a game his junior and senior seasons. I wouldn't call that mediocre. My season ticket holder status goes back to Wayne's days and he was both a fine player and representative of GRIZ athletics.
