Ashton Retires

Source(s)?
He ain't a 19th year Redshirt Senior. A little early for retirement.

You GOTTA be that kid who sh*t in the public pool when I was a kid. I never went back after that...

His Twitter bio states Montana Fb Alum. He also is in the Philippines during winter conditioning. Looks like he is moving on and enjoying life. Go Griz!

I wonder if he might also have picked up an injury this season. He was a regular on some of the special teams for a fair part of the season and then was less noticeable during the late season/playoff run. A solid contributor and best of luck to him!

This is also a kid who started playing football his senior year of high school. He may just have not loved it, and it was more of a job that helped pay for part of his college. Now that he is graduated, he is ready to pursue something he loves.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. He came, he worked hard, he saw the field and did everything asked of him. good for him. Forever a Griz.

I don’t know if he ever got a scholarship. He was a walk on.

That makes him even more impressive. Good for him for everything he put into it. I was so much lazier than these kids when I was in college.
