Yahoo! is reporting that between cheaters and those otherwise academically ineligible, FSU will be keeping a whopping 25 players home.
Incidentally, Bowden claims that he's forgoing the option of burning redshirts to replace these guys. Looks like FSU may well be playing some limited form of ironman ball for the bowl game.

The fallout has increased. According to Yahoo! Sports, between the cheating scandal, violation of team rules (may or may not be related to the cheating), and injuries, there are now 34 FSU players staying home. Particularly hit hard is the OL. A QB is also among those being disciplined. There is also speculation that the AD left early over this, though he is denying it. Surprisingly, among the 34 disciplined players are nine walk-ons.
In other news, six Tennesee players, including three starters, failed to make grades after the fall semester, and will therefore be ineligible for THEIR bowl game.
