Are we "rethinking" our Root coverage?

Embarrassing loss after embarrassing loss to assinine coaching and play/player selection, plus visuals of empty stands for most of the second halves... what a year NOT to have our games broadcast nationwide.

Let's hope the wind and rain do a number on the Fighting Souix's passing game... Of course I know it's indoors, but maybe the roof will fall in. It would even things up, since our passing game over the past two years looks like its playing into the wind all the time.

Go Griz... look good... PLEZ!

What the hell are you talking about saying Root is showing half empty stands for the second halves of game, have you even been watching?

Barring some major blunders I just don't see how Montana could lose to UND. If UM sticks to running the ball and keeping their offense of the field, this one won't be close. EWU beat them 55-17 and put up 300 yards on the ground on their defense, which is horrible against the run. We literally had our 4th and 5th string running backs moving the ball on them in the 4th quarter. We aren't a run-heavy offense, so UM should be able to put up big numbers on the ground against them if our game is any indication.

On defense, if Montana brings an agressive blitz on their Qb he will make mistakes. I just don't see this game bein close, despite the problems UM has had this year. Montana has a marked advantage in talent; hopefully your coaches don't negate that advantage.

Our coaches will likely make it a closer game than it should be.

We were told that week about Southern Utah also, but I hope you are correct.

+1

I'm really hoping this is the turning point game, like the Weber one last year... At the same time I'm also really worried there won't be a game like that this year, and we'll continue to see things that make us wonder WTF is going on out there (especially after we get a lead).

I guess this is a good time to mention that we are "The Big Sky Embarrassment of the Week" next Saturday against Idaho State.

Nope...not going to happen. Griz will win this one by 18 points.

I love watching um fail on national TV in HD :thumb:

Yes we're having a down year but without UM there wouldn't be any Root Sports national coverage. Your cats would be nothing more than Max Media fodder.

You mean the good old days when we got to watch the Griz every Saturday across Montana on CBS and the nation with live-streaming... Ya, I'm glad we're reaching a vast audience on Root. Anybody seen our ratings yet??
