Agree, I’m just trolling some of the bad takes over on bobscatnation. A couple of posters were adamant that not one Griz could start for their vaunted bubbykittens…..well that, it turns out, was a very bad take

Some would start but I would not want to trade one for one draft style that’s for sure. My guess is they would take Gub on their first pick and no way would I let him go for any player or even for two on their team.

He wouldn’t be a QB in our system, no doubt. Not sure he’s built to be a RB, honestly…most likely on the defensive side of the ball…

This may be sacrilegious to some, but he also would have been a dream replacement for Robbie Hauck's role on the defense. Bigger, faster, probably equally smart.

Nope. “Robbie’s role” is long gone. The scheme is not the same as it no longer funnels to the alley. There was a reason RH got burned deep so much and Bradford adjusted. Can’t be in two places at once.

Also, The Griz recruited the best MT safety from the class of 2020–Jaxon Lee has proved that with his recent play and by being a warrior, cracking every 2-deep since his first game as a true freshman. How many games has Tommy missed? I saw Lee and Mellot in HS. One ran toward the collision, the other was good at dodging.

And those suggesting Ort or Ortt or whatever his name is. Isn’t he the kid who had issues with “muffins and paperwork”? No thanks. Besides, his tackling? Looked like he took bad angles, worse angles than a drunk husband for an instagram model.
