Appy doing work

Not necessarily even "good" ... even mediocre might have been enough. The difference was a missed PAT, or it doesn't go into OT. Of course, there more than the kicker involved ... but that's how it goes.

Unfortunately, once UT made its halftime adjustments, ASU really had almost nothing they could do on offense. So when it went to OT, they were toast. Too bad. Be interesting whether or not UT keeps its #9 ranking.

I totally agree. I'd give UT maybe a 15-20 ranking ... no more.
 
Two great fan bases. Those are the two places where we've been treated the best as visitors. I drank more shots offered by UT fans on more boats along the Tennessee River than I could count. And that was before I started drinking them.

Agreed. I've been a Vol fan ever since my weekend there. I did a one-way RV trip from Houston to Knoxville for that 2011 game. Vols were great people; as are ASU people. It was tough, for me, to lose as a fan in this game.
 
Rocky Top was sweating last night! Hopefully it takes some of the hype off of them so that they can just play football. None of us Griz fans are surprised at how well Appy played last night. Take the W and move on
