APB on Inflatable Griz Helmet

Please be advised there is an All Points Bulliten for a missing Inflatable Griz Helmet. The helmet was last seen tied up and displayed at GRIZFest. It's cords were cut and the helmet is now missing.

It's possible it just took a quick break to grab some BBQ at Hutchins, but it belongs to a private GRIZ fan who is upset that her irreplaceable yard decor has gone missing.

Should you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Helmet, please contact base (or simply return him to the UM Alumni Association, 107 Brantley Hall, Missoula, 59812) so that he may be reunited with his rightful owner.

Remember the missing Griz Bell, '70s I think. Ended up in a certain frat house in Bozo. Friend of mine, and member of that frat, told me about their prized theft in the late '70s. He died years ago. Check out any connection to scat fans.

That bell, is now permanently installed in the lobby of the ticket office in the field house.
Its was stolen by Bozeman Lamda Chi members, from the UofM Fraternity that it was given to, after WWII, from the decommissiond USS Montana in the early morning hours of late December 1979
