Anyone miss having Full Back/Big Bad RB?

I would agree with you, though, that there is something to a fullback pounding an LB and opening a hole. I didn't mean to assume you wanted to change the offense...and really didn't even see who posted it. Just assumed was another "here it goes again" start of a thread. I played fullback in college, so I understand the "fun" involved with that iso play and such. Would be cool to have someone for the short yardage

IIRC they used Kidder on plays like that a couple of times. I assume they could use someone like Sims if need be.

Stitt preferred the big linemen in back field to push the QB over the line play last year

Dan Moore is the first that comes to my mind. I loved watching him run into people. 5'11" 235 lbs

There are two different schools of thought on football. First, there is the, I will please take what the defense will give me. Second, there is the, I am going to take this.
With a big back you get the second option.

Growing up with Big 10 football (the OHIO STATE) how else is there to play.

Hell yeah! Chicks didn't expect you to text all the time, PS2 was radical, the BSC didn't have 22 teams, kids rode their bikes to school, Pepperidge Farms was only starting to form memories, and a frankfurter cost a nickel.

Was that pic 2005? If so, that was 12 years ago. Twelve years prior to that pic, Joe Montana played for the KC Chiefs.

First one was Glenn at the helm in 2002. But BH was 1-2 until 2006. 5-2 career, I think.
 
I'll take a high level QB over a big bad RB or a fullback.
Dave and Johnny MT got something the NFL quality RB Hilliard and RB/FB Greene didn't get...NC.
John had Yohance 5'10" 190LBS, Dave had 5 WR sets no TE no FB no RB.
Yohance was a beast and he was smaller than Calhoun, Yohance thrived in a single back offense.
QB play can trump all other skill positions in college. Watson vs Alabama, although Watson had support he was the most important skill player vs the best team Alabama.
I lean towards the wide open style over ground and pound. I appreciate ground and pound, however my favorite players are Fran, Roger, Joe in the NFL, anyone who beats Alabama in the FBS and UM QBs Grady, Dave, Brian, Craig, Cole, Andrew, Jordan.
The strong are supposed to overpower the weaker, you remember when David beats Goliath. 1996 UM team was beat by Goliath (Moss)...1995 team will always be remembered.
