You make blanket statements without backing them up. How is he overly-biased? You do know he's a Griz announcer, correct?

Why is he not easy to listen to?

This is what I'm talking about. If you're going to put someone down come with facts. Mick has done an inordinate amount for this program.

I gather you have never really listened to Mick call a game or you wouldn't be asking me if he is biased. Fact, he is kind of embarrisng at times every time a ref calls something on the Griz he acts like he wants to fight somebody. I do not like flags either but sometimes we are penalized because we comitted a penalty.Mick gets so worked up I am surprised thsi didn't happen sooner. Why do some of the posters here get off on old worn out coaches and broadcasters? Whatever happened to the excitement of soemthing new instead of old?

Mick has been named the "Montana Sports Broadcaster of the Year" for the sixth straight year, and he has received that award an unprecedented 12 times in his career. I'll take the people choosing this award any day over your opinion.

I'm glad to hear Mick is recovering well and will be back in the booth for Griz football. I was recently in Bozeman visiting my sister and learned that Dean Alexander had recently retired from his daily show at KBOZ....never met the man, but enjoyed listening to the Dean and Dave show when I was in town. Radio personalities, especially sportscasters, are a rare breed and certainly bring the game to life when I am "watching" it on the radio.

Contact Engstrom, say you are Gwen Florio, and tell him that Pat Williams thinks that Mick should be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Tell him the DOJ, NCAA and DOE all demand this action. Tell him Pflu and O'Day are AGAINST it. It should be completed within the hour.

Love Mick, but I still have amazing memories of Bill Schwanke's Play by Play of Griz Football and Basketball. He was so good. I am not sure if Schwanke is in the Montana Hall of Fame, but if Mick is going in Bill should be in too.
