I had hoped to be able to cut through the Griz envy and hate but it seems to be well entrenched. You mention unprecidented legal problems at the U. Please remember in the not too distant past MSEuless has had, drug dealing by a coach, drug trafficing by recent players, drug related homicide by players, breaking and entering by freshman recruits, major assault and battery by active players, accessory to assault by a current player, disorderly conduct by the head coach's son and I am sure there is more that could be discovered.
The U of M has had dui's, assault, two rape arrests one of which is awaiting his day in court and the other will do his time, possession of controlled substance (2 pills purchased at a rave). Oh and the tazer instance which I forgot. Ummm coaches dealing drug? Not that I can recall. Murder? Can't think of one. Drug trafficing? Again can't think of one. Bitch stompping a star basketball player? Nope not that one.
Dude, neither school is spotless. Both programs have done a pretty good job disciplining their student athletes.You say my head is in the sand and it sure looks like you have rose colored glasses if you think the bobcats are angels.
It's time to grow up and agree to disagree.

By the way, there isn't one program in the country who would trade UM's legal situation for their own, except for Penn State. So go ahead and tell us that "both programs have had their fair share of problems" as much as you want. What has happened at UM is unprecedented in the State and in Bozeman.
