Another player added to Payton Watch list...

Well-known member
but it was not Jordan Johnson. The list consists of 20 players so it seems one player was dropped. Here is to hoping that JJ has a Payton Award worthy performance on Saturday and soon gets boosted from the other players considered list to the watch list.

I am sure with all the other standout players on offense this year JJ will not finish in the top 10 considering the Griz are a rush first team this year, however, if they aired it out like say Idaho St or EWU he likely would have over 300 yds a game and would have the stats the voting panel is looking for. Nevertheless IMHO his passing efficiency is still worthy enough to be on the watch list rather than say other QB's like...

JJ needs to play big in a big game before he gets some Payton love. Heard there is a pretty big game tomorrow

Yep, serious Payton Award candidates step up to the challenge in games like these. :thumb:
I believe that JJ will have a great game as long as the coaches call a game where his skills will come into play, instead of of 2 runs one long pass, punt. c'mon let's get real!!!!
