This is smart though. If every NCAA school started sending in hundreds of these trivial incidents, perhaps the NCAA would at some point realize how stupid some of their rules are, especially when they are overwhelmed with tiny violations.

Okay, I'll give this one a try. Tebow spoke in Missoula and elsewhere in Montana several years ago. Tebow overlapped with the Jets when former Griz Lex Hilliard was there. The NCAA governs FCS and UM football. The NCAA also investigated the Univ of Montana. Before Urban Meyer went to Florida, current Dartmouth coach Buddy Teevens was the co-offensive coordinator at Florida with Spurrier. It's the off season, and there's not much UM football news. Former Griz Danny Kistler was going to Ohio St before he came to UM, according to some media report. Some Griz fan think UM stadium is louder than Ohio St's stadium. This thread is more relevant to football than other threads in the forum, like Grizrule's pending move to MT/Spokane.

Okay, I'll give this one a try. Before Urban Meyer went to Florida,

don't forget too that former Montana coach Joe Glenn was scheduled to interview in Utah but got fogged in and couldn't leave Missoula. The job went to Urban Meyer instead, who then go the Florida job, recruited Tim Tebow and that's how this whole thing came to be. Bottom line: if Glenn doesn't get fogged in he gets the Utah job, Meyer comes here instead, recruits Tebow to Missoula (clearly Tebow always wanted to be a Griz as evidenced by him visiting Montana last summer and playing for Denver (which has so many Montana connections I don't even know how to link them all)), Tebow talks to Garrett on the phone, a Bobcat booster who has "Tapped" Griz phone lines hears it and reports it to the NCAA, and facing an investigation and sanctions Engstrom proposes the Griz get the death penalty as a result.

I believe that Titlelist's sweater actually represents something entirely different from the school. I heard it's actually his nickname and I believe he spells it "Dart Mouth"..................
