MBBALL Another Blow out……..Not

The 19 point differential was not indicative of how well the Griz played. I feel we played an inspired game up until the very end. Going into the game we recognized that the Badgers had definite height and speed advantages and that’s what doomed us in the end. I think we can be very proud of our guys.
It’s going to be interesting as we build for the future. Our lack of height has been an issue for many seasons and if we hope to make an impact going forward this is one area that needs to be addressed. We need a 6’10” big in the middle to really be competitive at this level. That coupled with a 6’7” slasher only then can we compete in the tournament.
It will be an interesting off season to see who goes into the portal as I suspect there will be 4 or 5 to move on. Not to beat a dead horse but we’ve got to go big. That’s a tall order (a play on words) given the current status of the BSC. We need 4 spot who is willing to crash the boards along with a big in the middle.
All in all I really liked this year’s team. Travis and staff are as good if not better than any coaches in our league.

Should be no problem as 6'10" guys that can walk and chew gum at the same time as well as 6'7" wings with a great first step and ball skills grow on trees .
I think we might have that wing in Tyler Thompson…we’ll know more soon. Aguino looks good but probably a red shirt in 25-26.

Agreed on finding that quality big, ideally an immediate impact kind of player! Drew Fielder seems like he’d fit the bill
