According to Oregonpreps.com the Griz are looking at 6-1 Chris Gweth from Hillsboro HS 14 points a game. He plays with another top Oregon Gaurd, 6-4 Reggie Guyton.
"I'm just kind of waiting and scoping out my options right now," Gweth said. "Seattle U., Seattle Pacific, Montana, cal State Northridge, and Boise State have all called. Seattle U. is talking about having me on a visit."

Mslacat,

I know the Griz go head to head with the cats on football recruits now and then, although it seems mostly on in-state recruits. What is your take on how often we bump heads on BB recruits?

The Cats and Griz are bumping heads quite a bit in Oregon. Both MSU highschool recruits the Griz had been in contact with. The Griz are recruiting northern Calif. pretty hard but the Cats are recruiting southern Calif. (Calif is almost like two states). They both recruit the Utah JC's. I know the Cats have a lot of connections in the Oklahoma and Texas JC's but I am not sure how hard the Griz recruit those areas. Of cource Washington is big on both list and both recruit Min. although I think the Cats have slcked off a little since Ollie moved on. I am finding with Krysco on board there are a lot more common recruiting grounds than with Kennedy or the Holster
