Announcers

I really enjoyed the announcers that ESPN brought in for the game.
No garbage talk about the FBS "playoffs" during the game, what a fresh breath of air.
Gave love to both teams. Really enjoyed hearing about Delaware old team and their photos from back in the day.
When the game was out of hand they still were engaging and great to listen to.

Ok, after bashing him early in the season, I have to admit I missed Marty. In contrast, I thought the announcers last night were deadpan and borrrrrrring.

Yes. Agreed. Like they took a Valium before the game. Zero energy.

True there was no excitment to them BUT at least they weren't talking about the FBS the whole time like previous announcers in previous years did.

They weren't talking about the FBS playoffs because it was a game exclusive to ESPN+.

All you're gonna hear this Friday is FBS CFP talk in between action because the game is on ESPN2 to a much wider audience.

I don’t know about boring and that would have been a rough game to announce after the 2nd quarter. I definitely missed Marty though. He entertains the heck lot of me.

You guys are missing the boat entirely. Turn down the sound, and dial up the broadcast on the app. It's a play behind what or you can sync it to your TV. C'mon, how can you pass on "strike up the band" or "Yahtzee baby."

I thought they were great! Now I'm biased because I was 15 beers in last night and another 12 today. Plus I bought a Calloway Paradym X driver yesterday, and I've got a 5 wood on order.

For what’s its worth, over on the r/fcs subreddit they were taking about the halftime show for the Idaho/So. Ill game on the deuce was very fcs playoff focused.

I watched the replay this morning and they were very professional and informative. Still wouldn’t trade it for the excitement that Riley brings for the live feed.

I can only imagine the scene in your home this morning when Mrs.Major came upon you.

You're a far braver man than me. I wait to the middle of the night to watch replays. And even then, it's from behind my CPAP mask.

  This isn’t far from the truth. I got, “Jesus Christ, you’re watching it again?” I mad up a lie that I’m taking notes and sending my recommendations for improvements to the Griz coaches. She rolled her eyes and said she was going to Macys.
