Wow. What a performance by Anthony Johnson. 42 points. Montana down 20 to Weber State and wins in Ogden. Love Wayne Tinkle. Great guy.

That one is nice but this one is better....

Montana one of the more underrated passionate basketball schools. Montana and Robert Morris win titles on road tonight. Impressive

That is ANDY KATZ saying this people...not some bum off the streets. I have been telling you people for 5+ years how montana basketball is our ticket to the big time just like Gonzaga.

Anyways, this is a huge win for Montana athletics and I am excited to be apart of it but at the end of the day it is only one win and it will take a lot more to build this program to where we all want it be!

Side note: I could not be happier for AJ and Tinkle especially with all you people jumping on their every moves.

The performance by Johnson and the GrIz comeback definitely deserve the attention it's getting! I'm still watching sportscenter (on ESPN) waiting for the "more highlights" they promised at the beginning of the show (the Griz comeback and Johnson's 42 points seems to be one of their big stories of the night).

I've pretty much accepted that I'm not getting much sleep tonight and will be worthless at work tomorrow.

They just ran the highlights on ESPN. Very cool They called it the game of the night (even mentioned the Mo club 2 times). Showed AJ's team photo from montanagrizzlies.com and said "Lookin good...feeling good!"

I just re-watched the game (for the 2nd time :thumb: ). And obviously, the things AJ does in that 2nd half are INCREDIBLE.

But after watching it for the third time, you know what really stuck out to me? Over all the amazing moves, and the incredible baskets, here's what caught my eye: At about the 16:00 mark of the 2nd half, the Griz made a mini run and got the lead down to about 15 or 16. But Weber rallied right back and had it back to a 19 point cushion. Then at the 14:45 mark of the 2nd half, Will tries for a steal and fouls a Weber player. Cherry is visibly upset and is jumping around the court in frustration. AJ calmly grabs him, pulls him aside, has a very short talk with him, and then pats him on the butt. Cherry was a new man after that.

That, my friends, is senior leadership.

I take it Neil Everret has been the Mo Club before?

I know he grew up in Spokane and it is my understanding he has a friend or a friend of a friend in Missoula. I have heard he likes to hit the area rivers and may even own some river property.
