Andersen update

Andersen might very well have been a Griz, if Stitt had not blown his recruitment. At least that is what I have heard. I have much respect for Troy. He represents the state very well, and is a really great kid from all reports. Please don't hate on one of our own.

The kid is incredible. I remember several on here including PR and Kem telling everyone that Dante Olson would be a better pro LB than Troy.

Nope. I never compared Olsen and Anderson as nfl linebackers.
Didn’t you compare Toure to Watson? They are both on Packers now but Watson starts so your comparison failed. Am I right? correct me if I m wrong lol.

He backpedals on everything, being the most intelligent poster on the board, and one who played the game, gives him that right.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but if I'm understanding you correctly, you're suggesting that one WR3 on an NFL team who starts only because of a rash of injuries is markedly better than a WR on that same team who does not start?

I think it's fair to say those are pretty comparable things. I mean, it's not like we're comparing Justin Jefferson to Toure here.

35 catches for about 500 yards and 7 tds seems "better" than 5 catches for 80 yards and 1 td. What is your definition of "markedly"? Must be more than 7 times!

In the NFL? More than that. MUUUUCH more than that. Like, Justin Jefferson vs Samouri Toure. Although I think some wise poster already pointed that out.

Not that it's an indicator of future success, but in terms of snaps every game, I'd say the Packers consider Watson a bigger piece of the offense than Toure. Though as the season progresses Toure does seem to be getting a little more action than he did early on.

Well they sure as hell better. They used the 34th pick on him. If they don’t see him as a big piece going forward he must really disappoint.
