Was just at Club Moderne last Tuesday. Great bar. Sad to see it go up in flames. By the way, the Old Works anniversary was great. Jack Nicklaus was fun to listen too. Mick Delaney was the emcee.

Man I'm jealous. I tried to get in on that tournament but apparently didn't know the right people. I tried signing up the day I got the email but it was already full. Had a few friends make it so just saw all their pictures. Looked like a great time!

Definitely worth the $125 price and then some. We got name on list as soon as it was rumored.

I think they are, but can't be sure because everyone knows there are two d's in andaconda. I learned that years ago from a college roomie who was from Butte. :thumb:

On a sad note, the Club Moderne burned last night. Another Montana classic.

Say it isn't so. Always my go to place after dinner at Barclays II. Would buy the bar a round as soon as I got there and wouldn't buy a drink for the rest of the night. They loved cigar smokers too, at least before the health Nazi's quashed that.

That's my wife's clan. Wife's grandmother & great aunt owned the Barclay II until they sold out to one of their nieces whose daughter happen to own Club Moderne. Barclay II is by far my favorite place to get a steak. On a side note the firefighter that went to the hospital for smoke inhalation is also my wife's clan. He was life flighted to Seattle but is doing good.

I probably know your wife. Grew up next the Mattsons and know John and Steph pretty well. I feel horrible for them.
