Amazon’s The College Tour features U of M

Had a chance to watch it earlier today, I thought it was great. It's been a big week for UM in the news followed by yesterdays announcement of UM gaining an R-1 status research institution.

it has been many years in the making, in part starting with several large grants for neuroscience research in the early 2000's (5 - 10 million each) , that were from nih initiatives aimed at helping less research-intensive programs increase their productivity. .
 
Fantastic video and outstanding presentation by the individual student presenters. As a student in the 60’s it’s amazing to see the evolution of studies now offered to our leaders of tomorrow. As a graduate of UM it’s evokes tremendous pride to have been a part of this great university.
I hope everyone in our community and nationwide has an opportunity to view this great recruiting video and continue to appreciate the contribution that UM has made to the world.

I just sent this to my Dean, Provost, and President in hopes that our marketing will work with them. Outstanding video. I wonder what the ROI will end up being.
