Altitude

2000 feet is basically nothing. Now if you were taking a trip to Laramie, Colorado Springs, or Flagstaff from 1000 feet then you might be onto something.

Truth, I currently live in Summit County Colorado and my house is at 9,300 feet. It kicks my ass when I come home after being on vacation in the low lands for a week.

I can attest to this. I lived in this area for a bit and the elevation effects are noticeable. The place I worked at frequently had altitude sickness health runs for visitors.

The only thing that's going to affect the Herd is something like the loss of all their equipment in a massive 100 car pileup on the straight shot from Fargo. It's hard to wreck on that stretch without bad weather but people do it all the time.

This brings up a more relevant point: Can the Griz score more than 3 TDs if the Herd plays without their helmets and pads? I say no. Concussions will riddle their D-Line but their O-Line will find a way to keep the ball.

Yeah, I think the altitude really effected the Bison in 2001 when the beat Hauck at Washington Griz. God, please stop embarrassing Griz Nation with posts like this!

You seem defensive and angry. Simple question about altitude effecting performance of NDSU. I don't remember saying it would sway the outcome of the game. I did not make score predictions or even predict a win/loss. You could infer from my initial post that the altitude would negatively effect the visiting team. How much - who knows. Relax and I think you are definitely throwing stones from your glass house with the embarrassing Griz Nation remarks.

The deciding factor will be how good either football team is.

Regardless of asspickers shitty demeanor, this is one of the worst threads I have ever seen on e-griz.

exactly.....especially the coastal carolina game........they owned the cold by playing smart on the sidelines.
so you can somewhat win at this game playing prepared on the sidelines as well.
