So did they have us a MU for most of the first half?

And in a related story, SUU on BSTV is playing Idaho State, and they've had the score showing the Bengals as "WSU" for the entire first half.

Really? Is it that hard to figure out who the eff you're playing twice a week?

A few other comments:

SUU has a nice facility.

SUU has the 2nd worst home unis I've ever seen. The worst were worn by Washington in 1988, when the shorts had "The U" written down the side of them. Those were bad. SUU's are close.

(W)ISU's match-up zone is killing SUU. It looks as though they've never seen a zone before. Not only can't they shoot it, but they can't pass it against the zone either. I mean, this isn't a trap-zone. It's a fall-back and play 2-3, but SUU is clueless.

SUU's first FG came 9 minutes into the 2nd half (they had gone 6-6 from the line).

Sac up 5 at ewoo with 6:30 to go.

Sac runs this rather odd four-corners offense, with a player in each corner and the ball in the middle. It's a little reminiscent of UNC in the days before the shot clock.

Sac is going to beat ewoo. The Griz road breakthrough at Sac is looking better and better by the day. This is a team that's going to win a lot of games.

Ewoo has lost 5 games this season in which they've had double digit leads in the 2nd half.

Shock of all shocks they actually had us identified correctly--but then they listed us as Montana and Northern Colorado--say they get a pass by default so to speak.

On a side note, four of us Griz fans watched the game @ Sluggers in Kirkland and one of our fans made the remark that there were more fans in the bar watching the Broncos/Ravens game than were in the stands in beautiful downtown Greeley! What a sad staement for that school--they do get an "A" grade fo their cheerleaders, however. :thumb:

Everyone in the BSC not named UM or (the actual) WSU has at least 3 losses.

I have a feeling that by the end of the season, the gap between Montana/Weber State and whoever finishes #3 will be at least 6 games. It's huge right now, the difference.

What ever happened to root? Weren't they supposed to cover basketball too?

Sadly, no. I don't think that was ever part of the contract.

According to the weekly Big Sky release, ROOT carried two Big Sky games in November, and they are now done for the season.

I think they carried two games involving BSC teams against a Pac 12 team or the Zags. I don't think they would have otherwise.
