Allie Lucas commits to the UofM Griz soccer program; glad to see, for just in case Robin Selvig's LG team needs an extra point guard in the coming years perhaps A. Lucas can help out. Of all the players in the State of Montana to be recruited as a point guard (senior in 2013-14) I thought Allie Lucas was perhaps the best of the lot. I don't know how specific the NCAA is on their allowing for a student-athlete to particiate in two sports in the same year; I've seen something similar happen before. Be a helpful addition to the LG basketball if Lucas wished to pursue such an endeavor, I would think. IMHO
If I remember correctly the LG did do just that back in the 1998-1999 season when a Karen Hardy from the Griz soccer team and a Cara Cocchiarella were added to the team roster because of a plethora of injuries at the time.
