A team with heart that don't give a crap who they play, but play with heart "Every" Game.

I actually think the 2013 Griz' football team played with about as much heart and guts as any Griz' team I've ever seen. That team was out-gunned in a A TON of games and NEVER gave up, and NEVER folded, especially on the defensive end, especially a defense that got its ass kicked for pretty much the entire month of October. It's EASY to say a national title team has heart. But it seems the OP is trying to insinuate that the 2013 squad didn't have heart or character, and while there were plenty of flaws with the 2013 Griz, heart, guts, effort and character weren't among them. Anyone who says otherwise wasn't paying attention.

against CCU, no heart, even tripp said so. Against NAU, nothing at all. all games, only heart that was shown was when it was needed, not from first quarter. we were in survival mode every game, and the heart we seen was to survive. This team, had heart to beat the Sh!t out of everyone from start to finish. IMO

Really? The Griz lacked heart? [Moderator edited.] Better yet find the biggest Griz player you can and tell him he just didn't seem to give a shit this year.

Jordan tripp NEVER said the Griz lacked heart against Coastal Carolina. Unless your one of those posters who is saying "a friend of my wife's sister in law, who goes to the same dentist as Tripp said he told him at McKenzie River that the Griz lacked heart." But as far as what he said in the postgame presser, I have the entire transcript. He didn't once say his team lacked heart.

Edit, oh yeah and Griznation23, I'm just curious, how old were you in 1995? You said the that team "beat the s--t out of everyone from start to finish." Are you aware that Griz team didn't even go unbeaten in Big Sky play. I'm assuming you're aware the Griz got beat at Idaho 55-43. I wouldn't exactly call that "beating the s--t out of everyone from start to finish". That Griz team wasn't even a top four seed going into the playoffs, and if not for Georgia Southern knocking off a seeded team in the first round, would not have even hosted the quarterfinals. I was there for all of. I will always consider the 95' team the greatest team in Griz history, simply because that year, a pinnacle was reached for the first time in the school's history. But using that great year to call out the 2013 Griz' team is pretty stupid.

It all comes down to the coaches not getting the players ready to play. Sure the players play the game but if the coaches don't get the most out of their players, well your going to have a mediocre season. Coaches need to get the most out of their player to have a great team.. This year our coaches didn't do that and I doubt if anything changes next year too.

C'mon. Is that how you treat a fellow E-Griz poster? It's FCS football for crying out loud. Breath thru your noise and relax. Merry Christmas!

Where did Tripp say the Griz had no heart against CC?

Hey, I know, let's have a long, drawn-out debate over whether or not the team had "heart" or "fire." Wait, no, let's first decide if we need more fairy dust.

Post of the year.

Saying the 2013 Griz didn't have heart is one of the most ridiculous things I've read on this board in quite some time. And that's saying a lot considering posters this year thought their tax dollars went to Bo Tully.
