Yeah, without extreme improvement Griz will struggle to have a winning record even.

Not sure extreme improvement is needed. We will be structurally better in every single position next year except for starting LB because we lose buss...besides that...we will be a much deeper and mature football team.

QB- Better with Sneed getting his senior year

RB- Eastwood, Green and Turner, Trase and Levi J. +anyone else will be better than this year. more mature and consistent

WR- We loose 1 player. Akem will be our #1 and we get another year of JLM. Toure gets another year older, Sulser gets older and more PT. Flowers has burner speed if we can fit him in.

TE- We don't lose any production here. Just another year of maturity

OL- We lose 0. We get a year of growth and we had some young players get GOOD reps this year. I assume we also will probably see some transfer beef show up here.

DE-We loose Tillman but have a clump of young guys that all want that PT. RJ,Deming, Brown, Nagler, Sims, Rodriguez. We willbe better on the edges next year.

DT-We lose Shaw and Davis here. We will likely see some transfer beef here as well. But both Grubner and Alford will be terrific young players each around 300+. Could easily ask Sims and Deming to add weight and jump inside as they are already 260+. Probably a push here next year unless we get a big transfer or 2.

LB- Olson, Lewis, Matthews, Welnel all will see good PT. Heard rumblings of Vika making a sold LB come back next year as well.

CB- We lose nobody and everyone is gonna be even better on a group that over performed at times this year. expect Calhoun to be a all bsc corner after a year of playing that spot.

S- We loose Miller and Epp but Robby will be a starter, Sandry a starter, Gavin starter plus we got some really good prospects last year that redshirted.

K- Same as this year, lots of competition

P- lose our punter but we have a couple options on the team currently, usually a easier position to fill

Good summary.

O-line - get injured players back too.

Safety - The safeties you mentioned started last game, I believe. Miller wasn't listed as as starter in the pre-game list.

Transfers, as you mentioned. But also the redshirts and potentially a few true frosh.

Another year of strength training. Another year with the new coaches. Another year with each other.

The prospects are bright, especially if the o-line progresses.

O line should be much improved from this year and that will make a world of difference in both offense design and and scheme. We had a good offense this year when we had good O-line play. We saw time and time again our OL was so young and short staffed that the second half of games we were exhausted. Our Defense was also understaffed this year and we just couldn't stay as effective in the second half. We with out a doubt will improve just in depth and then 2nd year in the scheme. Should be really fun to watch. We have a challenging schedule but I am very confident we will be very competitive in all those games...minus Oregon.

Big time Bobby supporter here, I believe this team will be back and win 8 next year, maybe even 10 the following year.

Someone hasn’t looked at next years schedule
Yeah, we have. We play five of the same teams we played this year. Weber, EWU and ISU are at home. A really good chance we win 8 of the 12. We lose 3 of 22 starters.

Put your money where your loud mouth is then. I’ll evenly bet you whatever amount you want on O/U 7.5 wins

A 7 win season would be an accomplishment next year. 8 would be huge. I can only hope for 8!!! Excited to see what Bobby brings in this year. Does he bring in JC’s or a couple of drop downs - or does he try the home grown, in the program for 4/5 year route? I don’t think he has a choice but to bring in some transfers if he wants to remain competitive next year.

Good points. I guess i shouldn't cite extreme improvement but rather across the board consistent improvement. With next years schedule it will be difficult and there will be very little room "growing pains" They need to hit the ground running on all cylinders. We still need serious depth at Oline and improvement in the basics.

Nest year's schedule looks tough. Holes need to be filled, and depth improved. I am confident these things will start to happen. I am hoping Griz give Oregon a run for their money.
