Actions speak louder then words

Sitting back and watching this: shock: drama play out, I have to comment. Engstrom, Pflu, O'Day were/are in positions that deal with decisions that few can fathom. Pflu and O'Day have had to field a football team that "had" to win. Their jobs depended on it, any decisions they made on personnel would be questioned. (Good or bad. I will not judge their decisions unless i have their insider knowledge). Engstrom had to make a decision and he did (again the same judgment). Few are in a position in their fields or jobs that require them to make decisions that are questioned daily (remember that hindsight is 20/20). Each of these individuals did what they thought was the best for them and those under them. We have a luxury that none of them had, we can guess, criticize, speculate and come up with what we would have done in each of their situations, which is great drama for e-griz. Each had actions that spoke what they believed in and in a job in which these type of decisions are made; each individual has the "mountain that they will die on", Pflu felt it was his mountain to support his players, O'Day to support his hire and Engstrom to send a message that the incidents of alleged sexual assault need to be addressed. Right or wrong each made decisions and they will live with them not us. The same can be said for the alleged victims and the alleged perpetrators in each of the incidents that have come up in the past few years. Win or lose I will be in the stands and a GRIZ supporter. I hope you will be too!

If Engstrom felt a need to make an example of recent attacks he needed to start with himself. The Saudi student is 100% royces responsibility, campus attacks not involving athletic students also his responsibility.

If you think pflu and oday deserved firing then royce is as well. Royce needs to accept his role in this instead of blaming others.

You don't what you are talking about. Quite sure you have no knowledge about the facts surrounding the Saudi students.

Pflu and O'Day were fired for fostering a continuing culture, not a single event. Your "fire-Engstrom" agenda is weak. We all know where you stand on that. You don't need to remind us in every thread.
