I was right last year on the Griz and the Cats in almost every important respect. You were wrong in most of what you said.Ha! And your predictions\comments have all been so dead on accurate the past few years. lol
So are you going to admit you say this same shenanigans every year and most years you look dumb? No, it's because I like to call people out when they say stupid crap about the Cats. All off season, I hear things like Cats suck, they are regressing each year, Tommy isn't a good QB, Griz lines are better, Cats have no passing game, the defense sucks, etc. So I try to let you guys know when you say dumb things, and now that they're proving all those things on the field - I'm going to remind you of that. I already admitted I was wrong about how the end of last season played out. So ya got me. I thought the Cats would have a better season than the Griz last year and I was wrong. The Cats just couldn't quite close the deal in three agonizing games, and found ways to lose the close ones, just like the Griz are doing this year. Role reversal this year. We'll see if Cat griz is another lopsided beat down as it's been the past few years.
A family member tells me all of their threads include at least some mention of the Griz...I don't think it's a forum quality thing. I think it's a bobcat fan culture thing for many of them. For the ones constantly over here trying to get a rise out of us, they cannot enjoy the success of their own team for its own sake. None of that matters unless they can get validation for that success from us. They couldn't enjoy a national championship without holding it above our heads. That's why last year was so painful for them. It was supposed to be the year they left no doubt and finally got to tower over us from the top of the mountain, and then we took their spot and buried them in the ground, just like we always used to. There's a palpable desperation among these guys, and you're seeing it manifest as an obsession with what we think about their team.
This is exactly what I think. He and people like money say the exact same, mainly dumb, things every year, starting early in the season. About the team, depth, position groups, and players. I've noticed this in the last several years. Then, usually, most of what they have said turns out to be wrong and not even in the ballpark. I'm sure that most of the Cat fans and fans on BN also cringe at what these football idiots say. Then, they start making excuses. Rinse and repeat, except one year.So are you going to admit you say this same shenanigans every year and most years you look dumb?
Cool story bruh.I'm sure none of you have been following all the player and coaches' interviews this year, but this team is different. I've heard several interviews where they've commented about being disgusted with last year, the two squeakers they lost, and getting blasted by the griz... and then of course "the block" against NDSU. Everyone redoubled efforts all off season to make sure they didn't get overconfident, and make sure they reached they're goals. 1-0 every week, every day, every rep. Seems to be working. Ya, they have excellent talent and depth all across the board, but more importantly the culture looks to be phenomenal. Vigen came here with the desire, and the blueprint for what it takes to not only compete with, bot topple the DSUs. We'll see how it plays out.
Only thing they've proved is that they haven't played anyone. No, it's because I like to call people out when they say stupid crap about the Cats. That's the thing, Nostradumbass...they've proven literally NOTHING on the field. They've beaten up on the little sisters of the poor week in and week out. Your 8 opponents have a TOTAL of 19 wins. I mean, Mercyhurst? Utah Tech? Northern Colorado? Portland State? Those four ALONE have just 4 wins between them. You've played ONE team with a pulse, essentially. So yeah, forgive us if we're not sold on your team's greatness juuuuuust yet.No, it's because I like to call people out when they say stupid crap about the Cats. I'm going to help you out because sometimes rival fans can stand too close to the elephant. Zoom out. If you said the Griz suck, are regressing, Junior isn't a good WR, Cats lines are better, etc., do you think many Griz fans would give a baker's fuck enough to post on BCN to "set the record straight"? Hell, I wouldn't even care if Bobfans posted that here, which is likely more probable, statistically. Yet, you guys wonder why you're known as Lil' Bro. I hope this helps. No, it's because I like to call people out when they say stupid crap about the Cats. Griz do seem to enjoy playing uphill. Tomorrow will be educational.Doesn't he have a history of his teams actually doing it, though? I get that every coach says it, but his do.
Fife has done really well. So I have no idea.Do you think Ah Yat starts again if Fife is healthy? Not being a smart ass, just curious. I don’t unless Fife really has a bad game or a loss the next two weeks.
I think Fife has gained the trust of the team, that'll go a long way as to who starts. Ah Yat may have had their trust but a lot of water under the bridge since then.Fife has done really well. So I have no idea.
