A Question for Griz Fans...

Griz Fans,
Congrats on a terrific season and for an excellent game. You have a great team and I was very impressed at how good they were. I just have one question. When you guys go to the LA Tech/TX Tech game tomorrow, who will you be cheering for. I think I can speak for all LA Tech fans when I say I hope all of you cheer on the Techsters. You had a great group of fans that kept the intensity up for the entire game. The fans looked and sounded great on TV. So, if you need someone to cheer for, the Techsters and our fans would love to have you on our side Monday night. Thanks for a memorable and scary first game, good luck in the future, and we hope to have your support Monday night.
 
Can't say I will be rooting for either team, just hoping for an exciting game that is close and down to the wire.

I will be cheering for LA Tech. But for selfish reasons. I want to bring more attention to the fact the NCAA screwed up. I want Tech to go all the way to final 4. I have always felt Lousiana fans have class. IE McNeese State fans. So that is another reason.
 
Obviously, I will cheer for La Tech. I think everybody knows the Lady Griz had just as good a chance to win that game as did La Tech. I would love to see them make the Final 4 now. Just so I can take some comfort in knowing the Lady Griz had a realistic shot at making at least the Sweet 16.
 
I might go just to mess with the La Tech band some more. Good times. Otherwise, I don't care who wins.
 
I'll be cheering for LA Tech, but there were a lot of TT fans in the building. I was pretty impressed with the number of people from TT that came up to watch the game.

Just based on Saturday's games I think LA Tech is a much better team than TT. However, I am sure that the TT coach will point out to the refs before the game that bump and run defense LA Tech uses, and being a Big 12 instead of Big Sky team, will get the benefit of the calls. Wouldn't surprise me if LA Tech gets in foul trouble early that takes them out of their game.

As agonizing as the result of Saturday nights game was, it will be even more agonizing come Monday should LT Tech knock off TT and leave Griz fans wondering about what might have been. Thanks to Brooklyn and Julie for their great contributions throught their careers. They will be missed. Get ready for more Katie Edwards!!!
 
Keep your chins up Lady Griz! You gave it a valiant effort. I saw a lot of Griz heart out there Saturday night. :wink:

What more can I say?
 
I'll be cheering for La. Tech to go all the way. I think they'll win tonight. Texas Tech didn't look like much.

Lady Griz are awesome and I already can't wait for next year.
 
Good game Griz. I talked to a Tech band member and he said he was impressed with you guys. They definately enjoyed hanging out with the griz band and hope you can come to Ruston one day. i hope you will cheer for our Techsters!! Thanks for making their trip more enjoyable! 8)

If the Griz join the WAC the Lady Griz could be playing LaTech home and home every year. The Lady Griz would be helped out greatly with a move to the WAC, so would the men's team.
