Wilson, Crittenden, Davis, Bradley played their GUTS out. Calling their effort (and results) "mediocre" is a gigantic slap in the face.

Oline was mediocre. ..d line undersized (not their heart that's for sure, but undersized )

Oline got progressively better as the season went on. But when the defense knows EXACTLY when you're going to snap the football, that'll make a lot of O-lines look "mediocre".

The 5 Griz o-lineman sure struggled against the 5 NDSU defenders in the box the entire game.....didn't win that battle a single time....

and as for the bolded.....there are tons of teams that use the same system that the Griz used in both college and the NFL.....the guard tapping the center.....seems to work....or they wouldn't use it....

Well the NDSU defenders sure seemed to think it was a pretty big deal in the post game presser....

OL, OL, OL, and then when the Griz are done there they need to get better on the OL!!! NDSU exposed our OL, which played well under Germer this year and played better as a unit than their individual talents, but in order for the Griz to truly return to form they need some big nasties opening holes in the run game and keeping our QB clean. I am excited for the future of the OL, particularly under Germer's tutelage.

Dominant lines on both sides. This year undersized at DT and OL was mediocre at best.

Did you know that the coaches wanted some of the lineman to play at a lower weight than in the past?

D tackles????

Yes. Guess you don't know as much as you think you do, do you?

I admit I have no clue what Stitt does...considering the average NFL D tackle the last 5 years (yes looked it up) was 304 pounds....Guessing he might be in minority wanting small d tackles.

NDSU DT tackles were able to hold our line at the LoS. None of there DT are listed over 290. http://www.gobison.com/roster.aspx?path=football

UM's roster lists DT'S at 270, 275,260,265,265......that average is less than 270

NDSU 5 heavier than UM's heaviest and only one less than 274 and that guy is a freshman

Regarding my opinion Griz DTwere to undersized......Jacksonville (#1 ranked team) has rotated 4 DT'S so far in Charleston game. ...330, 300, 290, 322. PlayerRep said Griz coach wanted Griz DTs to lose weight.....hmmmmmm maybe not a great idea.

It works against soft spread teams like MSU's offense, but physical, pro style power teams kick the snot out of undersized DT's

I agree. ...style might be able to win the BSC some years, but not a national championship. Jacksonville started the season with 4 out of 4 dline starters were SEC transfers.

Exactly

I would like to see Sanders being used more at Safety... 6'4" 200lbs and fast...why not use him to blitz and disrupt the pass more? Kind of like what Arizona does with Honeybadger. I feel like a theme for this past season (and others) is the Griz have great talent but just don't know how to properly use it.
