MSU-Northern had a fabulous season going---just about everything that they could reasonably hope for. Two weeks ago they knocked off Carroll, the then #1 ranked team in NAIA, and seemed assured of at least a tie for the Frontier Conference chamionship.
Then they went down to LeGrande, Oregon to play Eastern Orgeon, the newest member of the Frontier Conference, and a team who did not have a conference victory at that point (I think). Well you probably have the drift, Northern got ambushed and lost to Eastern Orgon 10-7.
Now the only way they could share the Frontier title is if Carroll loses at home to lowly Rocky Mountain---not likely to happen.
As we know, Any Given Saturday---isht can happen!! Go Griz and please stay focus---you've got some business to take care of in Greeley.
