Not sure about how good he is in the kicking game. I'm sure Brint or others have a better idea on him. I wonder if he'll have a better chance at the kicking roll now that Worst has left the team.

Why does everyone keep saying Worst left the team? That hasn't been officially documented anywhere and a quick Google search shows his Twitter profile is still very Griz and Montana focused: https://twitter.com/BenWorst20.

egriz manual: article 2, section b, subsection 4.1

repeat a rumor 3 times in one thread or 2 times in multiple threads and it becomes fact.

Don't shoot the messenger. It is in the manual.

The only thing I know about the Oregon native is he was first team all state his Sr year and all league his Jr year. Having a strong leg, he led the state in touchback % but accuracy may be an issue where he missed 4 of his 89 PAT attempts. If it is true about Worst, then I would expect Harrison to give Lider a real strong run for the starting job. Which ever one solves their accuracy issues 1st will get it(sorry about the understatement).

What I saw from Harrison in spring ball: he was the most accurate of the three, but when kicking off the ground he was having issues with power between 40-50 yards. Didn't see him do any kickoffs but going back to his high school highlights that didn't look like too big of an issue.

The 2nd scrimmage "spring game" was maybe his best showing, had a few real nice powerful kicks in the 38-42 yard range.

I don't need a kicker that can boom 'em from 50+ (although that's damn nice, obviously). But when you get inside the 25, you've got to score. So being extremely reliable from 42 in is what I look for. You miss those and you're just giving points away. Like the Griz did last year.

This is spot on. Last year we hit our 1st 6 inside 42 yards and then proceeded to miss 4 of our next 6. Also 3 of those 1st 6 were against OPHS.
