I like thebidea of either 12-14 teams and then have 2 Divisions for scheduling purposes. For example:

NORTH
-Montana, MSU, Idaho, ISU, EWU, PSU, UNC

SOUTH
Weber State, SUU, Cal Poly, UC Davis, Sac State, NAU, *San Diego (Example)

Play all 6 other teams from your divison every year to solve the rivalry game issue (some rivalries will have to be sacrificed but SUU vs WSU seems bigger then ISU vs WSU nowadays) and 2-3 from the opposite Divison every year on top of OOC Scheduling.

Again the Divison format is only in reference to teams you play every year.

All that division does is exacerbate the unbalanced schedule we have now.

If it ever got to that point of splitting he conference, I'd rather see the "south" division just become its own conference. Then we'd no longer have to be worried about an unbalanced schedule.

So you'd rather play Portland State than Weber State every year? Football and Basketball?

I would rather swap out UNC with Weber State.

Don't see how it would effect basketball as I specifically stated it is for Football scheduling only. And i tried to keep as many rivalries intact as possible hence EWU and PSU

I dont think your AD and incoming Prez would be able to propose this to the BSC without first getting approval of a couple of boosters. :thumb:

Who will Griz not play every other year when the 9 game conference schedule goes into effect? I assume Griz will still play Bobcats every year, but what other teams will Griz play every year?

Griz will play Idaho and Cats every year.
