8/20 evening practice report

- There was a Titans scout on the sidelines, he was watching mostly Dan Moore and Greg Hardy.

Well he obviously hasn't been paying attention to our local football guru JCU. Jeez

Bet you anything they are only looking at him as a fb. Which I've said he's a good fb not a rb. But, egrizzers lack reading skills.

I may have missed this, but is TT ineligible the entire season or is he finishing up summer classes to get on the right track?

Who is TT? Tonga Takai? He's practiced full time with the first string and coach D has been talking about how important he is to the defense. Doesn't sound like a the type of stuff you'd do if a kid is suspended for a season.

Anyways if a student hasn't made the grade before the 9-credit rule or whatever can only suspend a guy for the first 4 games, not the whole season, I don't think.

Whatever happened to the Hagfors kid out of gt falls?

Backup tight end, used in a lot of passing down situations. Last night they ran a 3 TE set with Hardy, Pierson, and Hagfors. Pretty interesting.

b/w,,,do you believe we will be able to get the ball down field to saylor and haynes? if my memory serves me right , these two were real "gets" for the griz due to their speed and size combination (miss match for defensive backs)....are they over rated???? thus the short passing game to slots and backs as you have stated? also, not much on the lebsock kid, is he making any plays? he was supposed to be a specail player coming out of high school, similar to hermy...any thoughts????

As Hermanson got more and more reps under his belt, his knowledge and impact grew exponentially. I think it will be the same for Lebsock....we'll see though.
