4 Big Sky Teams Kicking Off Tonight

I hadn't thought about it until just now, but the Griz don't play Idaho State in 2014, didn't play them in 2013, but will be playing at North Dakota for the 3rd year in a row. Brilliant :roll:

I believe two of them (maybe 12 and 13) were considered non conference games and were booked before UND joined... I know at least one was.

Not only three years in a row, but all three at Grand Forks. Only '13 was non-conference, the backend of the home and home. The '12 game was the painful one (Griz allowed 660 yards and 26 first downs passing - lost by only 6).

The announcers said that Poly was down a few linemen and maybe a linebacker or two as well due to injury, could just be a shell of their actual team. But they sure didn't look good, esp the run defense.

I wanna know why the Cougs are even playing in Seattle?

They have been doing it for about a decade. Supposed to drum up support from Western Washington. It really doesn't work. Bill Moos said it will be the last one.

They're looking good in the primer grey hats, though. Reminds me of O'Bannion's Plymouth Duster.

What did ISU accomplish? Took home a big paycheck, like they will next week in Logan. Didn't get banged up. They put up 330+ yards, about half through the air. Found out their special teams need work. If they stay healthy, the game in Bozeman the week before the Brawl should be interesting.
