How many people ever jumped off the JJ bandwagon?

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2

There were only 5 or 6 on the bandwagon on this site for well over 2 years.

Then after most of these assholes bashed him for being to small, weak arm and white they all think hes the savior and probably jerk off to his stat line and mop up with his jersey.

Its sickening to those of us that knew he was all this at least 2 years before the flip floppers glommed on.

The safeties don't deserve to be dissed. Hermanson and Tully played fine.

Yea, North Dakota thought so too! Great to hear the kicking game is coming around also. Coaching staff has a few months to fix a few holes or have App state fix it for them.

What does ND have to do with how safeties played last night?

The starters for UND were the same who started last night. Fans are legitimately concerned.

Do you truly not understand that how the safeties played last night in the scrimmage, has nothing to do with who started and how they played against UND?

Being concerned about safety play is a different subject.

Sounds like my boys Henderson and Dennard had solid performances again. It also sounds like the safeties are still giving up "game changers" And... ah.....the kicking game is something that will probably roast us at one point this year.(a real shocker ) AWESOME to have J.J. getting up to snuff :D Based on reading the comments all spring I'd have to set the over/under on our wins at 9. :egriz:

I am with you here. I backed you from the first post and I am doing it again now. I believe Henderson answered the Yard After Catch question & Dennard has a strong hold on the other corner. Still concerned about the Safety play especially after I heard last night that we passed on McDonald (UCLA trasfer) who is now at EWU.

PR, I think the conversation has evolved beyond the scrimmage (see MGR & CV above) to question if last year's personnel are the ones to start this year.

Probably the deciding factor me on "Hendy" and "Josh" is the fluidity of the way they break on routes or on the ball when it is "airborne". SSSSSMMMMOOOOOTTTTTHHHHHHHH.... Both are still "raw", but once the steak gets off of the grill I know it will be "prime" :D On the other hand if you watch our safeties when they change direction it looks like a "rusty" bucket on an old Caterpillar. Slow, methodical and not the recipe for a 4 star meal. I see some guys are building pumice block walls around our safeties, but that offers no protection for 660# BOMBS... :grenade: What the thinking is there I can't possibly hypothesize. These guys are getting *"paid"* to play ball now...pansies need not apply.

Gragg was pleased with his O-line. The front lacked the injured William Poehls as well as Trevor Poole, who has been off the team since a drug arrest last October. The crew still opened up running lanes early in the spring and gave the quarterbacks time late.

The group could get deeper if Poole, who started at left tackle, is able to return to the team.

“I guess the best way to put that is there’s always going to be a high level of competition, regardless,” Gragg said. “(John) Schmaing has done nothing that would not give him the opportunity to start in the fall. If Poole is able to come back with us, it will be a heated competition there as well.”
Sounds like it's out of the coaches hands on whether or not Poole is coming back.

 I guess that makes me exactly 1/6th of the JJ bandwagoneers on this site.

I have been there since "day-1" but that is because of my geographic location and inside information. It is also why I was fit to be tied as some notables here jumped to crucify him. I am glad he decided to dig his toes in and stand his ground. There were moments when it would have been so much easier to fold and slink away -- but that just isn't JJ as we will have the pleasure of seeing first hand. This guy simply won't lose.

I think it is time to give JJ back Alpha's moniker of "Playmaker".

Welcome back JJ. Good to see him making a lot of big plays out there.
Why is this staff so "stuck" on Tully and Hermanson (sp?) at safety? Come on Mick, open up the safety job to all for the 1st week of camp! Maybe pushing Tully and Hermanson for their position would improve their play too. I just don't understand how they can continue to get bad results, and continue to see the field?
Because maybe they're still the best we have. I don't know why people are assuming that if we put someone else in, they're going to automatically be better.

Also, you're getting mad at the wrong person. This is on Gregorak.

those listed on the roster for safety are #39 Jake Dallaserra - RS So from Butte, #32 Adam DeBruycker= RS So from Choteau, #13 Zack Gratton -RS Fr from Billings, then #24 Rominger and #20 Gamboa, who IMO, played better this spring......hopefully they will prove this fall that they should be the starters.....shouldn't be that hard
