39-35 at the half

Lady Griz are really struggling to finish games this season. With about 2 minutes to play, they hit a huge 3 ball to go up 3, and then immediately give up back-to-back 3's to msu and then watch the cats run away from them down the stretch. Final 77-72.



So THIS is what an average women's basketball team looks like.....
 
First time they have won there since 99. Big win for Coach Binford. Fun game to watch. The conference tournament is going to be a doozy.

With what the Lady Griz have coming into their program next year it won't be long before they are wiping the mat again in the conference.

In '99 they got beat in one of the HS gyms. Selvig hasn't lost a game to MSU on campus in 32 years.
 
Just got home from work and wasn't able to see the game but that really hurts because now the LG fall into a four-way tie, I believe, with PSU, MSU, and ISU for the third spot in the BSC. I think the tourney is set up so it runs three consecutive nights for the ladies, right? It will be a real accomplishment if the LG can even challenge for the BSC title this year...
