So how come the budget is $150,000 short? These guys play with numbers worse than the politicians.

Not that surprising, since the profit resulted from the '11 football season (where the season's success, a money game at Tennessee, 2 home playoff games, and making the NC was 3 points away obviously helped). The thread title labeling the '11 program as "needing new direction" is a little inaccurate, IMO.

This time next year, new figures for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013. I doubt it will be so upbeat.
