And those bleachers will be left up all season too.

I know I'll be seeing this for myself in 2 days, but do you have pictures? I can't wait!!

You threw me there first. I thought this was the number of calories each T Buff fan will consume over the weekend.

Read a piece about Boise State's stadium, now at 30,000 capacity. In that metro área of half a million, they don't sell out. They were happy to announce their Husky game WAS sold out. No plans to expand until they regularly sell out, said the A.D. Food for thought for thosé expecting a expansion of WGS.

From what I've seen there's already very few tickets left for the late-season home games...

Keeping capacity tight favors pressure for tickets and higher ticket prices. There will have to be consistent high pressure for tickets for expansion projects to get to the top of admin's list. Pressure had been on the decline over the last few years. Maybe Stitt can get it back on track; remains to be seen.

Other than 1-2 games a year, I would say it is pretty darn easy to get a ticket. Hell, over half the games have massive holes in the stands where people aren't showing up. Pretty tough to say we should add more when it's only really full twice per year.

A lot of the vacancies are in season ticket areas suggesting a major part are season ticket no-shows. Those tickets are paid. But season ticket no-shows seem to be on the rise, particularly for lame games, which includes many conf. games as the BSC is currently configured. More entertaining offensive football and more aggressive defense can reverse that trend. But there is little hope in improving the overall quality of BSC games.
