Just a guess on my part.
Unless a DL/OL hs recruit has the GRIZ as a legitimate possible commitment, the focus will be more for lineman in the portal. Very few HS lineman recruits are ready to contribute as Freshmen. Meanwhile, portal transfers are more ready physically. Linemen are much more physical than rest the positions.
Makes sense to me.
