Begin General Egriz Mandated Expectation

Rushing game: 5000 rushing yards

Passing game: 10,000 passing yards

Play calling: 100:1 pass to rush ratio

O-line: The meanest GD o-line you can produce, they have to eat nails, piss excellence, never miss a block, carry half-ton trucks on their backs, be enforcers even when not on the field, intimidate everyone and everything, be tall but not too tall, be big but not too big, be strong but not so strong it forces them to not be quick, be so mean their own mothers will hate them. Also make sure they do a lot of community service and smile when in photo ops.

In all seriousness though my wishlist would basically wish for improvements over last year. The biggest areas of improvements I would wish for would be:

1. Interior run blocking. It was great against App and UND and then it suddenly became impossible. What happened? Need more consistency. The running GAME was good, but with this stable of running backs it can certainly become even better. Add in Alpha's point of using JJ more as a runner and I think it would dramatically improve all facets of the rushing game.

2. Put more of the game on Jordy's back. Didn't it seem like when the Griz needed a TD, a late drive, or multiple scores they'd scrap the original plan, go 3, 4, or even 5 wide and toss the ball around in the hurry up? It struck me that when in the hurry-up and letting JJ call the plays and control the pace the offense was at it's best. I almost think back to the 2004 Griz with Craig Ochs. Let JJ control the game a lot more and I think the offense will post even bigger/better numbers than they did in 2013.

Perhaps our tendencies were too easy to scout and prep for. If JJ is fully utilized as you and and other egrizzers have noted, we'd be a tough team to devise a game plan for......

I think that when he's playing his best and he has full control of the O, JJ is the best QB in the big sky. Adams is great, too, but he benefits from having receivers he can just chuck it up to.

As far as the bitching and moaning goes against the offense last year, EWU torched us in offensive production, and I really don't think their players are any better as a collective than ours. We had a great offense by our standards, but I think everyone can agree they weren't used to their full potential, and it showed a lot at times.
