Maybe I'm wrong but I think they were maroon matte with black/maroon paws - I think in the youtube video the colors were just reversed... but maybe I'm wrong....

You are correct. They have not worn black helmets with maroon decals.

Thos black helmets would look cool, but when we did the maroon matte with the maroon paw last yr...OMG that looked horrible and cheap!
