2014 Griz Football Recruiting (10 Signed /15 Formal admission)

This recruiting class is getting weaker by the minute.

And why would Reese accept an offer here over NDSU? Has he not looked at the weakness of the rest of the incoming class? Does he not realize Montana is on a rapid downward spiral to mediocrity?

it would seem logical to me if you have an all state 6A player at running back, then you would keep such a talent at that position...why in the world would you want to mess with that ?

reese, anyone from ore. or wash., will take us over any f.c.s. school. three reasons are quality of school, quality of program, travel. unless they're nuts.

After reading some articles on him last night, it sounded like he was attending camps last summer to work on becoming a "shut down" corner or even play safety. In my opinion, we are pretty stacked at RB for several years barring injury. I am excited to see what Favors can do with a year to adjust to the college game. Yet he will be still only be 4th on the depth chart.

Someone else mentioned AJ Hotchkins. He'd be a nice get as well. However from what I found, it didn't sound like he was re-considering coming here. In any case, I am liking this class more and more. Hoping to see some more OL commits come tomorrow.

I think you were looking at yourself in the mirror, not at the recruiting class. Geez, lighten up you ol' troll. I am excited that these young men threw their lot in with the Griz and I wish them the best of luck in their careers. Go Griz!

I agree. If I was making the pitch for a kid to choose another school over Montana, I would surely tell his parents what they could expect to read about their son on egriz for the next five years.
These should be the best years of a young man's life and there's nothing so special about playing for the the Griz that would make it worthwhile to be written off as a lousy recruit before you even graduate from high school.
 
Thank you Griz4life, these are 17-18 year old kids, its the biggest decsion in thier lives and the most exciting moment of thier lives, and then they read on the Griz football fan website that they are apart of the worst recruiting class in years, thats nice, I am sure that makes them feel great about meeting a fan like you ( Raider) lets stay positive with our Griz future
 
Alright, let me put this down so you guys get it. Raider was being sarcastic and making fun of previous posters who were less than enthusiastic about the class to date. Therefore his use of sarcasm actually should be taken as enthusiasm by him for this class. If you guys don't get it by now, I can't help you.

Just as clarification...a verbal offer doesn't mean shit. Especially one from back in May. While it's likely they would still honor that offer, there are countless times when after offering a player their Junior year, a school will back off on that offer during a senior year or something. None of it really matters though, because he won't be signing with anybody other than a JUCO or prep school.

David looks committed to the griz. He is supporting fellow griz commits and has wa griz as the background on his Twitter. Manu is a great steal from ewu
