You must evaluate high school football players or be a high school recruiting guru with your keen insight...I am also curious as to why you think the Griz could do better than you seem to think they are?
Perhaps it's because they've done better in the past?
Based on what? Recruiting classes can't truly be evaluated till you see how they end up. We have had what we thought were awesome classes that have had over 50% attrition rate. Some of our biggest classes have lost the most players. Classes with over 20 recruits often have the highest attrition rate. Players transfer, quit, or never see the field.
Granted, on paper, this does not look like a glamorous class, but if you look at last years class, it was high on skill players and low on linemen and linebackers. This class fills that need and also looks like we got some players even from out of state to take partials or even walk on. Given the small graduating class, loss of scholarships, and scholarships given to players already on the roster, this class APPEARS to fill areas that will need to be addressed when they are ready to play.
That being said, none of us know the true value of this class till they start hitting the field on Saturdays.
